Instead of leveling up individual skills independently, experience points earned from regular activities flow into a single collective Mastery Experience pool. By game design, regular skill XP from Mining, Foraging, Fishing, and Combat converts at 100% into Mastery XP, while Farming XP converts at 50%.

When and How Does Mastery Unlock?

Mastery unlocks the moment you attain Level 10 in all five skills: Farming, Mining, Foraging, Fishing, and Combat. When this condition is met, you receive a morning notification: "A new path has opened...".

Head south into Cindersap Forest, east of the sewer pipe and southeast of Leah's cottage. The solid wooden door embedded in the rock cliff will now unlock. Inside, you find the Mastery Cave containing five stone pillars, one for each skill.

1. Farming Mastery

The Farming pillar rewards you with the Iridium Scythe, allowing you to harvest any crop (not just hay/fiber) quickly by swinging your scythe. It also grants the crafting recipe for the Statue of Blessings, which grants a unique beneficial blessing every morning, plus the ability to discover rare golden animal crackers that permanently double farm animal output.

2. Foraging Mastery

Claiming the Foraging pillar grants the recipe for the Mystic Tree Seed (growing high-value Mystic Trees) and the Treasure Totem, which spawns an immediate circle of artifact spots around you when activated. Additionally, you gain the passive ability to find golden mystery boxes throughout the valley.

3. Fishing Mastery

The Fishing pillar rewards the Advanced Iridium Rod, which can equip two bobbers simultaneously for game-breaking fishing combos. It also teaches the crafting recipe for the Challenge Bait, allowing you to catch up to triple the fish on a perfect catch.

4. Mining Mastery
